1960s German Ceramic Vase with Undulating Pattern

US$595

About

A ceramic vase from West Germany, circa 1960. An upright flask of white ceramic is decorated with a raised pattern, rippling and fluid, reminiscent of onion bulbs or tulips. The raised lines bear a soft tint of rosy orange, a warm shadow which brings out the rhythmic, undulating design. A refined and sensuous piece.
