Sterling silver neoclassical style urn salt. American silver salt / bud vase of double-handled urn form with beading at rim and circular base with engraved 'L' monogram all on plinth base raised on bun feet. Marks for Bailey Banks & Biddle, the famed Philadelphia jewelers of Chestnut Street known for their design of the Great Seal of the United States, still in use today. United States, first quarter twentieth century.
Dimensions: 5” W handle to handle x 2” Deep x 2.88” H to top of handle; 1.88” square base.
