English 1880s Oval Oak Planter with Brass Braces Mounted on Custom Oak Stand

An English oval oak planter from the late 19th century, with brass braces, lion rings pulls and newer custom oak stand. Born in England during the later years of the 19th century, this charming oval planter is made of oak slats secured behind horizontal brass braces, accented with lateral lion ring pulls. The piece is mounted on a custom oak stand, made of straight, splaying legs, adorned with curving spandrels. With its lovely patina and nice proportions, this English brass and oak planter on stand, circa 1880, will bring a touch of authenticity to any home.
