Early 20th Century French Hand-Painted Faience Cache Pot from Rouen

Decorate a mantle, table or buffet with this colorful antique planter. Sculpted in Normandy, France circa 1920, and rectangular in shape, the ceramic jardiniere is dressed with side handles over a scalloped rim at the top, and a scalloped apron at the base; it features a playful wavy shape throughout, decorated with hand painted floral and leaf motifs. Dominated by shades of blue, white, mustard and orange, the decorative ceramic dish is in excellent condition with rich and vivid colors. Measures: 10" W x 5.5" D x 4.5" H.
