About

Decorate a console or mantle with this colorful pair of colorful antique melon jars. Created in China, circa 1880, each enameled vase is decorated with foliate motifs, reserves depicting birds, figural scene, and further embellished with Famille rose medallions. The lid covers are topped with a decorative tapered finial. The porcelain vases jars are in excellent condition with soft patinated colors and gilt accents throughout in the pink and green palette. Honorific mark underfoot. Measures: 9" diameter 9.75" height.
