About
Make a statement on your mantel (fireplace) with these tall, impressive ewers. These antique "Aiguieres" (or ewers) were sculpted in Rouen, France, circa 1870. Each delicate, ornate terracotta pitcher sits on four small feet, and features a large handle, and a sloped spout. Both ceramics are embellished by a fish head sculpture in high relief. The colorful, sculptural jars are decorated with hand painted flower baskets on both sides. The pair of porcelain ewers are in excellent condition and have markings on the bottom that read FF 1370.
