Heisey Glass created this glass apothecary jar with cover for John Hood Co., Boston early in the twentieth century. This thick glass piece has twelve faceted panels and a ground glass stopper. The stopper has some chips due to the nature of its use. It weighs over 5 1/2 pounds.
What a great cookie or candy jar and attractive enough to be left on display.
