Artist and designer Jean-Claude Farhi was one of the first to experiment and create with the new and innovative material polymethyl methacrylate, also known as plexiglass. A collection of columns is one of the most recognizable from the artist and displays the intense creativity of this era of his creation.
Former collaborator of prominent 20th century figures like César, Arman, and art critic Pierre Restany, Farhi's collection of columns was one of his first major projects and remains one of his most distinctive. The blue colors that run through this piece stimulate a calm and tranquil atmosphere.
