Sculpture 'Father and Child', Family Series by German Blacksmith H. Zimmermann

$700.09

About

Forged sculpture "Father and Child" from the sculpture series "Family". In a strong contrast of emotion and material, German blacksmith and professor for metal arts in Sweden, Heiner Zimmermann illustrates the delicate and deep bond between father and child, captured in the durable and strong material steel. The long foot of the sculpture expresses the growth and increase of affection, familiarity and sense of belonging as well as the journey and bringing up of the protagonists so far. This collectible and extendable sculpture series is carefully crafted by Prof. Heiner Zimmermann, German blacksmith in 3rd generation with hammer and anvil. Each sculpture thus becomes unique and represents its own character. The series involves sculptures from encounter, birth, growing family, to death, this representing the circle of life. Artist recommendation This piece works placed as a solitaire or as a part of the family series. Depending on the placement, their message changes. Beautiful gift for the wedding, which can be added to a series for the birth of a child or later occasions. The sculpture can be placed indoors and outdoors.
