Large masterpiece By Karl Ens, superb modelling, sinuous and lifelike.
Perfect painting showing the pair's facial expressions,
with the satyr looking tenderly amused by the Coy Bacchante.
Very rare Ens Masterpiece; the artist may well have been inspired by
one of Clodion's wonderful satyr sculptures.
Great display impact: 14 inches tall, 11 inches wide.
Excellent original condition.
