Pair of Sculptures "Guitar and Mandolin Players" by Cheryl Chase

Patinated ceramic, representing two players sitting on a ball on pedestal. Signed "Cheryl Chase" (small accident) Cheryl Chase is a South African artist from Durban. Receptive to art in general, Cheryl discovers her destiny as a ceramist in Israel on a kibbutz where she picks up fragments of pottery near the Dead Sea. It's a revelation that turns into passion. Travels to Spain, Italy but also to Iran and Israel will considerably enrich her artistic horizon and sensitivity. In Paris, she will stop for several years where she will obtain a degree in visual arts. Cheryl has exhibited in many French galleries, but also in the United States, Norway and Germany.
