Pair of Antique Victorian Cast Brass Figural Cherub Door Stops or Sculptures

This pair of antique detailed cast brass figural cherub door stops are unsigned, but presumed to have been made in the United States in circa 1880 in the period Victorian style. These door stops each show a nicely executed cast brass figural cherub surrounded by vines and holding a wreath with a scrolling loop above their head. Note that the curved loops above the cherubs are not an identical match as one loop appears more rounded than the other which is a bit more elliptical. both door stops have cast iron weighted bases. These are large sculptural door stops measuring approximately nineteen inches in height and retain their original aged patina.
