Meissen lovely pair of children season's rococo figurines - The Fall: Girl and boy with wine grapes, both supporting themselves on marble column Manufactory: Meissen Dating: 19th century / made circa 1870 Material: white porcelain, glossy finish Technique: handmade porcelain Designer: Michael Victor Acier (1736 - 1799) / models F 24 created circa 1779 Specifications: 1) We're presenting here a Gardener Girl seizing a wreath of wine grapes and leaves, in which a bird has sat down: It is SYMBOL OF FALL / AUTUMN ! - The figurine is supported by marble column as well as it is attached to round base decorated with golden painted Rocaille ornaments. 2) The Gardener Boy holds a basket filled with wine grapes as well as he seizes a hat (this figurine is SYMBOL OF FALL / AUTUMN , too) . - The gardener boy is supported by marble column as well as it is attached to round base decorated with golden painted Rocaille ornaments. Size: Height: 4.92 inches / 12.5 cm (girl) 4.72 inches / 12.0 cm (boy) Diameter of base: 2.36 inches / 6.0 cm MARKS: Blue Meissen Sword Mark (underglazed) with pommels on hilts / FIRST QUALITY Further There Are The Following Marks Existing: model number F 24 / former's number 143 / painter's number 75 (girl) model number F 24 / former's number 131 / painter's number 75 (boy) Condition: Very good condition, even the leaves are in finest condition.
