Late 19th Century Bronze Group, Cupids Playing Music

About the Item

Patinated bronze allegorical group featuring three putti on a cliff strewed with wheat. Two of them are playing the drum and the bagpipe whereas the third one is dancing. He is wearing a floating drape and is playing the castanets. Beautiful brown patina. The group is set on a pink oval marble base. circa 1880. Dimension: W 12.2 in, D 6.3 in, H 13 in. Dimension: L 31 cm, P 16 cm, H 33 cm.
