About the Item
This brown and gold patinated bronze figure was crafted by the French sculptor Paul Duboy. It features a little girl, psyche, standing on a naturalistic base. The bronze sculpture is set upon a round marble plinth. Signed: Paul Duboy. Paul Duboy (1830-1887) studied sculpture in the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts in Paris and exhibited his works at the Salon from 1853 until 1882.
