17th Century Thai Bronze Bust Of The Buddha
About the Item
A Thai bronze head of the Buddha. Sukothai period, late 16th-early 17th century. His face with serene expression, arched eyebrows above incised eyes and lips, aquiline nose. Wearing a decorated tiara in front of a conical-shaped usnisha. Traces of original gilding. Mounted on a walnut base.
The small scale makes this a wonderful gift for the Buddhist or yogini in your life, or anyone else!
