Midcentury German porcelain figurine depicting a pheasant in soft pastel colors by Karl Ens Volkstedt (Dresden)
A lovely piece of high quality porcelain. Hand painted full with fine details and beautiful colors.
Condition: In very good vintage condition; free of cracks, chips or breaks.
Signature: Blue/green underglaze mark (used after 1919) and the number "2" imprinted.
Measurements: H 21.5 x W 11 x D 29.5 cm
The Porzellanfabrik Karl Ens existed from 1980 - 1972 and became part of the VEB Sitzendorfer Porzellan-Manufaktur from 1974-1990.
