Papier Mâché wolf sculpture created by MarCo Laganà in collaboration with Superego Editions. Unique piece. Biography MarCo Laganà realizes his papier-mâché sculptures with the ancient technique of maceration of paper, using vegetable or animal glues that he himself prepares, creating fantastic landscapes inhabited by wild animals, water trees and meteors that seem inspired by Apricale itself. MarCo Laganà lives and works in Genoa. From 1987 he began to study workshop painting by some Ligurian painters, including Ermete Finetti and Renzo Cordiviola. Since 1999 he has deepened his passion for engraving by attending the Ligustica Academy of Fine Arts in Genoa. At the same time, he developed a training and professional career as a Theater Pedagogical Operator, conducting theater workshops of a social and other nature. He completes the collaboration with the theater realizing different shows as an actor and set designer, creating masks, muppets and installations in papier mache. He collaborates at the puppet theater festival with the MAAF Academy in Pinerolo (TO). His works have been exhibited in various art galleries and museums. One of the most important installations is kept in the Diocesan Museum of Genoa. Superego Editions was born in 2006, performing a constant activity of research in decorative arts by offering both contemporary and vintage works, together with its own limited editions. Superego over the years has produced e made several editions with A. Mendini, A. Branzi, M. Giacon, M. Cibic, A. Mangiarotti, U. La Pietra, etc.
