English Carved and Painted Spaniel Dog Sculpture, circa 1920

About the Item

An English carved and painted wood spaniel dog sculpture from the first half of the 20th century. Born during the Roaring Twenties, this wooden dog sculpture features a handsome cocker spaniel, sitting quietly, with his eyes focused on a scene unknown to us. His black and white coat is accented with nicely carved accents, particularly on his chest. His black long floppy ears contrast beautifully with the white hue of the coat. With its nice proportions and nicely weathered appearance, this English carved dog sculpture circa 1920 will bring a sweet presence to any home.
