Ceramic sculpture, Gösta Grähs, Sweden. 1999. Stoneware. Unique. Dimensions: H: 35 cm/ 13 25/32" D: 18 cm/ 7 3/32" Gösta Grähs was one of Sweden’s leading ceramic artists in the 20th century. After his art studies at ”Konstfack” in Stockholm, he ran his own studio for may years before working for Rörstrand in the 1980s. Gösta became a prominent designer of figurines and teapot with swelling shapes and humorous expression. His artistry is represented at the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design.
