Cenedese Murano Sommerso Color Changing Italian Art Glass Pony Horse Sculpture

US$1,200

About

Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown Sommerso champagne color Italian art glass race horse sculpture, with saddle. Documented to the Cenedese company. The pony has a very cute personality, as I looks to be smiling. Very well sculpted face. Created with Neodymium "Alexandrite" glass, which changes color from daylight to indoor fluorescent light. In this case, from a champagne (with hints of purple at the horses neck and head) to green (see last photo). The piece is solid and very heavy. Measures: 10" tall.
