Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown Sommerso red and Neodymium gray Italian art glass sculptural bird vase. Documented to designer Antonio da Ros, for Vetreria Gino Cenedese, circa 1961. Published (see last photo). Created with Neodymium "Alexandrite" glass, which changes color from daylight to indoor light, from gray with a hint of purple to green. The piece is solid and very heavy. Mid-century era. Measures: 13 1/4" tall.
