Antique Murano White Gold Flecks Italian Art Deco Scotty Dog Figure Bookend

About
Beautiful early antique Murano hand blown white and gold flecks Italian art glass scotty dog bookend sculpture. The dog is very well sculpted, with lots of details to create the fur all over. It has a black collar, nose and eyes, with bright red tongue sticking out. The body is brushed with gold leaf throughout. The puppy stands on glass with all over iridescent / aurene surface (see last photo). Created in the manner of the Ferro Toso Barovier company, and the Fratelli Toso company. Art Deco, midcentury era. Measures: 5 5/8" tall x 5" long x 4 1/4" wide.
