"The Arab Warrior Knight on horseback with dead game" One of a kind 19th century French mid-brown color bronze sculpture by Alfred Barye ( French 1832 -1882) and Emile Corliolan Hippolyte Guillemin ( French 1841-1907). Alfred Bayre created a number of versions of this amazing bronze scupture, this is the one with a dead deer and open winged goose, the detailing is breath-taking!!!!!. Alfred Bayre was very particular about the patina in a richer mid-brown color or copper color. Most of his sculptures are sand casting.
