    This glazed black hand built ceramic modern TOTEM consists of a freeform open top with a middle spherical shape on tripod legs. Part of a series of Modern Totemic works. The dark brown stoneware clay is hand formed in 3 sections which are attached before firing. The rich Black Glaze on the lower forms alternates between satin and gloss and shows the texture of the clay, while the White Glazed top reveals the artist's hand and the brown clay beneath.
