Exceptional bronze sculpture signed "Page´s '69". Sculpture has a very rich patina to the heavily articulated bronze surface and is seated on a marble base. Excellent modernist example of this iconic subject matter.
José Mariano Pagés was born in Argentina in 1922 and have several auction results. I have not been able to find any other information regarding the artist.
Total dimensions are in listing details. Base itself measures: 1 5/8" H x 5 1/8" W x 4.75" D.
