About the Item

Handmade copper sculpture on wood base created by Jack Nutting of San Francisco, California. Sculpture stands 5.75" by 2.5" wide by 2.5 deep. Signed JN 11/81, 2 on the bottom. From the estate of the artist, Jack Nutting. In very good vintage condition. Nutting joined the Metal Arts Guild of San Francisco in the 1950s and quickly became well known in the San Francisco Metal Arts Community. His clientele were doctors, lawyers, and business people, with occasional celebrity patrons, including Lena Horne, Natalie Wood and Robert Wagner.
