    Maison RAAK, in the style of. Chandelier with 7 lights composed by 7 gilt brass tubes linked by wires to a circular gilt brass ceiling hung. Work realized in the 1970s. New and functional electrical system. RAAK, lightings manufacturer, was founded in 1954 by Carel O. Lockhorn in Netherlands. First working for Philips in Eindhoven, it then opened a shop in Amsterdam to create lightinhs with a sophisticated, elegant and futuristic design, done with glass and metal. In the 1960s, RAAK associated with the artist and glass worker Willem van Oyen and they created unusual lightings like colored stained glass with abstract motifs. RAAK also collaborated with great international designers and architects as Evert Jelle Jelles, Sergio Asti, Bertrand Balas and Nanny Still.
