Inkwell-Pairpoint Glass and Sterling with Controlled Bubble Pattern

About the Item

Pairpoint Glass Company ball shaped inkwell with the controlled bubble pattern that became synonymous with the company. The glass was blown around a molded form to create a receptacle for the ink. The bottom is ground. The sterling silver top is by Knowles Company and has a repousse top without a monogram. The collar is marked sterling along with the silver companies makers mark.
