Machine Age Art Deco Paul Lobel Benduro Modernist Desk Objects, circa 1937. Original signed early Lobel desk - top design. Function unknown, but certainly holds business cards and shorter writing instruments vertically. Original Benduro glass in very good condition, with polished aluminum bases. Lobel's proprietary Benduro glass was introduced in 1937, prior to his move into jewelry, and post his ground-breaking machine age metal - work designs. Museum quality rare objects by an important designer.
