19th Century French Louis XV Patinated Bronze and Marble Mantel Clock

About the Item

This elegant, two-tone patinated and bronze doré mantel clock was crafted in France, circa 1820. The antique clock stands on scroll feet, and features a Classic, bronze sculpture at the pediment with a young beauty lying down pouring olive oil from a jar. The center features a round porcelain clock face, the clock mechanism with original pendulum has been cleaned and checked, and is in wonderful working condition, keeping good time with a beautiful chime. On either side of the porcelain dial, there is a sophisticated marble texture with decorative scroll bronze mounts. The clock is in excellent condition with Fine details and has a rich and beautiful patinated bronze finish. Measure: 17.5" W x 6" D x 17" H.
