French Pendulum Clock / Mantel Clock, Boulle Style Paris, circa 1870

French pendulum clock / mantel clock, Boulle style Paris, circa 1870. Paris, circa 1880 The waisted case, veneered with red tortoiseshell and grilled on the sides, rests on four leaf feet. Gilded bronze appliqués. Dragons sitting on the side and on the glazed front door. Framing rocailles. Bronze dial with Roman / Arabic numbers on enamel cartouches and enamel center with signature Crowning figure of a Chinese man with a parasol. "Richond Vol. Montmartre" The movement was recently overhauled by a watchmaker and is functional. (R-71).
