An exquisite French mid 19th century Empire st. ormolu clock. The clock raised on a rectangular base with finely chased borders. Above four ormolu columns support the impressive top capitol with finely chased borders. Centered are the very impressive and important ormolu and white enameled round dial and pendulum with fine chasings of acanthus leaves. All original gilt.
