About the Item
An elegant 19th century ormolu mounted marble 3 piece clock garniture.
This clock set was made in France for Tiffany & Company in the late 19th century.
The set comprised of a clock and a pair of seven arms candelabras. The clock mounted with a winged cherub holding a torch atop a purple marble dome resting on 8 Greek/Roman columns with fine ormolu mounts, and a classical mask sunburst motif pendulum.
Circa: 1890
Signed on the dial: Tiffany & Co.
Movement Marked: Made in France, Medaille D'argent 1889 and numbered 4192
