Rare Gold Chinoiserie Chiming Georgian Style Mantel Clock, circa 1920

About the Item

A decorative two train English gold chinoiserie mantel clock of small proportions, circa 1920. The Georgian style rectangular case with brass carry handle and stepped base, decorated in relief with scenes of pagodas and landscapes. The enameled dial with Roman numerals and strike/silent adjustment with a decorative brass bezel. The French barrel movement is stamped 3710 48 with matching pendulum, chiming the hours on a gong. The movement has been fully serviced.
