English Hump Backed Shagreen and Silvered Metal Mantel Clock Probably by Jump

About

A very fine English late 19th century shagreen & silvered bronze hump backed carriage clock. The nicely proportioned case with fine convex engine turned dial with moon and sitting upon bun feet. The 8 day lever movement numbered. Circa 1895. 7 inches tall. Almost certainly by Jump of London, a famous family of clockmakers who were who worked for and were apprenticed to the Vulliamy family, before succeeding them and starting their own firm.
