Machine Age Art Deco Norman Bel Geddes Pair Revere Crescent Candlestick Holders Designed for "U" candles by Bel Geddes for Revere, circa 1935. Streamline. Catalog No. 160 in the 1937 "Gifts by Revere" catalog. Documented therein as Designed by Norman Bel Geddes. Described therein as "Satin chrome finish with base of satin black nickel." Remnants of original Will and Baumer CS3U "U" candles available. The bases have the original felt-covered wood blocks inside. Unsigned. Typical vintage wear to bases from use. One of the better Bel Geddes designs for Revere, and difficult to source with the original satin black nickel finish in any condition.
