Antique 18th Century Mennecy Figural Mouse Snuff or Patch Box

About the Item

A rare figural porcelain snuff box in the form of a mouse attributed to Mennecy porcelain. Having a porcelain mounted lid with wonderfully hand-painted vingettes with cats, weasel and a chicken. Length: ca. 2 7/8 in. Items purchased from David Sterner antiques must delight you. Purchases may be returned for any reason for a period of 7 days.

    Wear consistent with age and use. Minor structural damages. Hinge slightly loose and tarnish to mount. Mount re-glued w traces of glue visible at edges. Fine and light glaze and surface scratches here & there.
