A most unusual piece of Black Forest, a travel desk thermometer in a wooden case with carved decoration and a beautifully carved Dog's head to the front, great detail and beautifully executed.
Dating to circa 1890-1900 it remains in excellent condition. 4 3/4" x 1 3/4" x 7/8".
