Pair of Studio Craft Solid Wood Nesting Boxes with Sculptural Lids, circa 1980

About the Item

An alluring pair of handmade nesting boxes in contrasting finishes and with sensually carved lids, each separating into smaller components perfect for storing small objects such as jewelry. Beautifully crafted and tactile desktop or tabletop sculptures, the round box is believed to be alder and the oval is walnut, each signed beneath as shown, "Phyllis J Woods Made in Canada", circa 1980. Measures: Round box closed 2.25" tall, 6" diameter Oval box closed 1.5" tall, 3.75" wide, 6.25" long.
