Enamel Box Gilt Inside Painted Flowers Garlands Lady's Portrait, France
About the Item
Superb enamel box with flowers garlands and a lady's portrait.
Specifications:
1. The surface of round box is made of white enamel. Additionally, it is stunningly decorated with nicest multicolored flowers' garlands running along the surface / mentioned garlands are hung up at bows.
2. The round bowl's lid is topped with a nicest enamel painted picture, depicting an elegant lady:
The lady's style and appearance is similar to ladies of period of Angelika Kauffmann (1741 - 1807).
The picture edged by brass ring is signed by a French painter: 'Laurent'
3. The enamel box is gilded / gilt inside.
Manufactory: French manufactory (possibly Paris), made circa 1880-1890.

Condition:
Very good (there are a few very slight signs of wear at edge of reverse side of box visible / the lady's picture is in very good condition, too - apart from a very few tiny scratches which don't spoil picture's excellent appearance / apart from that, there aren't any imperfections existing).
