Delightful Limoges France Hand Painted Vin De Paris Wine Pitcher Porcelain Box
About the Item
Collectible Limoges porcelain miniature trinket box is handmade and hand painted in France and features beautifully hand painted grapes and vines on the wine pitcher with an attached plate on the bottom of the box. Rich hand painted 24-karat gold trims the rim, handle, and the under plate of the pitcher adding a touch of opulence to the box. Box opens up to reveal hand painted grapes inside the bottom of the box. The porcelain box features rims or fittings of patterned antiqued finish gilt metal with a pretty flower shaped closure.
From the Limoges region in France, where very little has changed in the manufacture of these fine miniature works of art in 300 years.
Hallmarked, "Limoges France Marque Déposée Peint Main With Script Initials PV in the Middle of the Hallmark."
