About

Michele Oka Doner Bedrock, 2019 Sterling silver box Measures: 3 x 3 x 3 inches Edition of 10 Signed and numbered Artist statement: Bedrock was created in response to the glass house. Though both share a minimal structure, the House celebrates transparency and the box is opaque, an eloquent relic extracted from earth upon which the house rests. Then, the use of silver brings reflective qualities to the bedrock box, creating luminosity, restoring harmony.
