20th Century Antique Sterling Silver Half Corona Cigar Box



A very interesting 20th century antique sterling silver cigar box which could almost be used whilst travelling, especially with the two side carrying handles. The front hinged compartment held matches at the back and there is ashtray with grill rest for a cigar, which can be lifted out for cleaning. The main box compartment is lined in cedar wood & fits four 1/2 Corona cigars. This box is a Foreign import into London - 1903. Dimensions; W front on 4 1/2” (5 1/2” inc handles). D front to back 6” H 1 7/8”.
