RGB Crystal Color Bowl, Handmade Contemporary Luxury Glass Vessel
About the Item
The RGB crystal color bowls are minimal color studies inspired by the classic Red Green Blue color sets used in digital and print media. After the large swaths of color are applied, we finish each bowl by complimenting the exterior with a coat of clear crystals that create an optic array while also giving it a luxury feel with the gem-like additions.
-Exterior coated in crystals to create a luxurious optical quality that amplifies the rich color tones
-Blown by hand with the top edge cut and polished to compliment the facets of the added crystals
-Thick stripes of color, blend together to replicate the array of colors that compose these color sets

FurthurDesign is a line of modern glass objects and lighting handmade by William Couig in Brooklyn, NY. The work has an aesthetic steeped in the 70's vision of future that William was raised on in film and popular culture. Created using traditional Venetian techniques, the FurthurDesign line utilizes the natural attributes and tendencies of glass to create logical design concepts. While each grouping has machine-made qualities, they have distinctly hand blown features and an organic appeal.
