Atelier Borgila, sterling silver bowl. Signed and dated 1939. A small and very fine bowl of timeless design. Atelier Borgila was founded in 1921 by the designer Erik Fleming (1894-1954) and achieved in a short time fame and success and also became a royal court supplier. They exhibited at the world fair in Chicago in 1933 and works from Atelier Borgila can be found in museums ex. Metropolitan Museum of Art.
