An exceptional, fine and impressive antique English sterling silver presentation bowl and plinth; an addition to our ornamental silverware collection. This exceptional, fine and impressive antique silver bowl has a circular rounded form onto a circular spreading foot. The body of the impressive bowl is plain and unembellished, with an applied moulded border to the undulating rim. This exceptional piece of antique silverware is fitted with two fine and impressive Art Nouveau, narrow loop style handles with bifurcating scrolling upper terminals. This antique silver bowl with handles is fitted to the original impressive circular ebonised wood plinth, encircled with a contemporary vacant silver inscription band; the band may be engraved with a personal inscription if so desired. Condition This antique presentation bowl is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The antique silver bowl with handles has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition. Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the bowl are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
