A wide stoneware planter from Robert Maxwell and David Cressey’s 1970s collaboration, Earthgender. One of the less common designs from this partnership, the ‘thumbprint’ pattern has a textured surface of repeating impressed concavities. This example has been finished in a speckled ochre glaze. The planter has a rounded lip and a large bowl shape. Dimensions: 23.5" diameter x 14.5” height Condition: Excellent vintage condition; 4 clean drainage holes were previously drilled.
