A pair of mid century modern cone-shaped rattan / wicker vintage garden chairs or club chairs, which was designed by Roberto Mango, Italy, 1950s.
Roberto Mango ( 1920 - 2003 ) Italian architect
Roberto Mango began his career in 1946 with his graduation in Naples. From 1951 to 1953 he was a correspondent of the architecture magazine Domus and Interior´s magazine in New York.
1967 Roberto Mango got the Compasso dÓro, an important design award.
Also the chairs are equipped with a woven wicker seat shell in best vintage condition without any damages and a black lacquered tube steel base. The feet show rubber shoes.
The wicker chairs are very stable and comfortable.
The vintage condition is very good with minor signs of age.
