Japan antique handmade, hand carved, and hand lacquered altar table finished in stunning red lacquer - signed Meiji 28th year, 1895. A beautiful architectural master work from an old private Japanese collection. Crafted in a convenient size. Includes an extensive dedication with an 1895 date on reverse. Photographs taken out of doors for visual accuracy. Measurements: 28 inches high and 45.5 inches wide and 12 inches deep Would make an attractive addition to a meditation area, private shrine, or as a handsome Stand for a temple bell for example.
